I am looking into airbrushing as an alternative to brush painting. I paint models such automobiles, planes, and figures. I am getting a little tired of painting bigger pieces that are only one color for an hour only to go back over it. Oh the models I paint are medium sized, like 3ft by 3ft with an average of 500 or more parts. I use enamel paints like testors brand. The very fine details I can do with a brush but an airbrush looks so much better. I did a little bit of airbrushing in a high school art class 3 years ago but I don’t remember much about it. I will more than likely get absorbed into airbrushing and not be able to stop, that’s why I would like a good beginner brush that is flexible to do other smaller size works. Well I won’t be painting cars or shirts so a brush for models would be nice. I would like to hear any suggestions for an airbrush for that style of work. I am open to any suggestions and can’t wait to hear from anyone.
